Senate GOP: We will grow our majority in midterms
By Alexander Bolton - 03/15/18 06:00 AM EDT

Senate Republicans say they are confident about expanding their majority even while their party faces strong political headwinds amid growing sentiment that GOP control of the House is in serious jeopardy.

Sen. Cory Gardner (Colo.), chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), gave colleagues a pep talk during a private meeting Tuesday, pointing out poll numbers showing Republicans beating five vulnerable Democratic incumbents.

“He said if the election were held tomorrow, we’d pick up five seats,” said a Republican senator who heard Gardner’s comments and said the “upbeat” outlook was based on public polling.

The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

Although a lot can happen between now and the election, the electoral math is certainly in the GOP's favor in the Senate IMO. In the House, not so much.

What GOP 'leadership' does between now and the mid-terms will determine whether or not they retain their House majority.  Speaker Ryan needs to start delivering on promises made., i.e., funding the border wall and repealing Bammycare.  So far he has FAILED.  Likewise with McConnell; so far he has FAILED.

IMHO, the mid-terms are the report card we give our sitting congressmen.  Those that haven't done their jobs and have made empty promises and not voted according to what they promised should be ousted!
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

FWIW, Kenny Marchant lost our vote already. If the Democrats offer someone who's not a moonbat, like they did last time, I might consider voting for them. A search under "Kenny Marchant disappearing" reveals several articles, albeit 10 months old.

Jan McDowell is a moonbat.

Well said!

For me it's come down to, "why vote for them if they aren't going to do what they said they would do". It makes no difference if the House is in Rat hands, or Pub hands, if all the real changes are only being done by the Executive branch.
