I've been wondering about some of DJT's initial bad picks, too. Perhaps, being a NY businessman and not a politician, he relied on some really bad advice from inside-the-beltway types (Priebus, et al?).

I think President Trump was sincere when he entered office and began working within the existing protocols, but soon discovered there’s a steep learning curve regarding who to trust for advice. Backstabbing in politics is everywhere.

Actually I provided an intelligent response to a conversation between myself and DD.

If you weren't so busy rushing around crapping on just about every thread you show up on...you'd see that yes...I do indeed post in support of Trump when he does things right...hell I even start threads talking about things he does that I support.

But that ruins your "everyone but me and my little gang love Trump" meme if you notice things like that.

Instead of actually posting anything relevant or honestly talking about a disagreement on policy or how Trump is handling things you immediately just pull out the NT bullsh*t.  That more than anything evokes the responses that end up locking most of these threads.

I'll be honest early on I tried (and still do sometimes) to talk rationally with some of the people I have blocked now...but got tired of having every single response I put thought and time into dismissed with some stupid "you're a Liberal"...."you just hate Trump" or one of a hundred variations on that theme.

The talking about how great the place used to be before the "refugees" showed up gets tiring too.

I'm not saying you do all of that...but you contribute.

It gives the air of some here not supporting open and honest debate/criticism and that causes pushback from people that believe rightfully so that it is their right as an American to criticize the President regardless of his political affiliation.

There's supporting the President...and then there is blind worship and excusing things that had it been Obama or (God forbid) Hillary doing and saying them...we'd all be singing from the same sheet of music in our criticism.

And you are in deed guilty of a little of all of that and it's part of why some folks here react to your posts the way they do.

I’m comfortable with my beliefs about Donald Trump and I’m happy that Trump won and is doing a good job fulfilling his campaign promises. So, if your mileage varies, more power to you.

Bush failed to drain the swamp that is Foggy Bottom, and had Clintonistas obstructing him at every turn. Getting rid of the Obama holdovers is essential to national security. If Tillerson made headway on that front, then he is to be commended.

Yes, valid point, just think, we'd still be seeing ISIS mayhem everywhere if Trump did not get out of the way of his Generals, we would not be seeing possible reconciliation with a rogue nation, North Korea, threatening the world with nuclear weapons.
