Well I thought I'd drop by to see TBR's take on Tillerson...
As expected its 10.5 of 13 plus pages of the same AT and NT saying the same thing as in hundreds of other posts ...
As an always and proud NT I'd just make 2 observations...under Tellerson Exxon emerged as the premier global oil company in the world, which no doubt required a CEO able to both manage a vast corporate bureaucracy but to successfully deal with dictators to socialists, as was noted in the glowing reviews when he was nominated. Claims now that he was/is incompetent are idiotic...
Second Trump has never had any experience with dealing with anyone who was not working for him and was not on his payroll and serving at his bidding. In the corporate world, as we all know, the guy who has the gold rules. Government service whether civilian or military, is not the same as working for a business. Both those leadership and the peons and grunts take an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States ...not an oath of fidelity to who ever is occupying the office of the executive.
I don't think that is a distinction Trump is capable of understanding, I remember very well another president, about 44 years ago who was unable to grasp the distinction between personal loyalty and loyalty to the Constitution of the United States of America .....it didn't end well...
