Exactly. That's my whole point. Much, almost all, of what modern Democrats stand for, all the perversions and 'trans' this or that, is diametrically opposed to Mexican/Latino/Hispanic culture. These old White Democrats think that they have the Latino vote secured. I do not believe this is true.

Illegals will vote for the perverts in the short term for benefits. But once they become stable and normalized, they will realize what the Democrats really are at their core. When this happens the Latinos will either vote for one of their own people running as a candidate, or they will not vote at all, or maybe possibly they will vote Republican.

The Democrat Party as it is today support things which are the exact opposite of what most Latinos believe in. The American Blacks have consistently voted for these current old White pervert hippies to represent them for decade after decade. I do not believe the Latino/Hispanic people will follow this model.

Not exactly.  El Patrón is an integral part of that culture.  As in, a strong man, a boss, to tell people what to do, when to do it and how high.  In return, the Patrón keeps you safe and fed.  And that seems to trump issues like abortion (just don't participate in it) and LBGTXYZ issues (again, don't participate in it).  It's a very hierarchical society and one that does not translate to a republican form of government.

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
The median age for the Boomers is 60. They're going to be around for while and are getting more conservative by the year.

Median age for X'er's is 40. They are already highly conservative and getting more so and they will definitely be around awhile.

Older millenials particulary in the non-urban areas are starting to head down the conservative road as they settle down, and the younger one's are the children of the X'ers.

MSNBC might want to do some refiguring.
The Republic is lost.

I don't think it's as accepted in Mexican and Central American cultures.

Which, if the GOP wanted to be dirty SOB's, would be to run ads in Spanish pointing out some of those things the Dems support that their culture does not.

It's essentially a caste system.

And when you live in such a society - things like liberty as we understand it, are not possible to exist in any meaningful or lasting capacity.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

That's actually not a bad idea.
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

As much as I hate illegal voting, there would be some funny irony if the GOP siphoned off a significant portion of that.

And someday, the youngsters are going to figure out THEY are the ones that are going to get stuck with the bill for all this "free" (ahem) "stuff".

My avatar shows the national debt in stacks of $100 bills.  If you look very closely under the crane you can see the Statue of Liberty.

Actually, I think they are right. The old Conservatives remember Goldwater, the Reagan commentary in the 50's that was based on Conservative opposition to the new deal and the radical expansion of Federal power.
Conservatism and Conservatives have lost that intellectual foundation  and instead of opposition to the expansion of Federal power they expand it as long as it fits the political narrative of the moment... the Conservative goal posts are moved to the left year after year.

The observation that Conservatism as some of us understood it with the election of Reagan will die when we die is spot on in my opinion.

Even 20 years ago the present occupant of the WH would not have had chance of winning let alone be seen as a Conservative. Yet today he is the face of "Conservatism"...
