So I'm to believe some random porn star got paid $130k for nothing by Trump's lawyer and that she and Trump never had any sort of sexual encounter, that it is all just lies out of the blue.

How stupid does one have to be to believe Trump the known liar on so many other things?

My little girl is in the 6th grade and has not quite mastered the ability to tell a lie. First I can't look at her then cause she is either going to giggle, or have a wardrobe malfunction or claim she is to busy to pay attention to details as she and her friend loonie are having a fight; Second, a 6th grade girls memory is not that good, must be the hormones...but a chronological recall of her past statements seems to be an impossibility....Third  When I've asked her, did she really say that, she tells me that she heard a quote on the news  ..."not to my knowledge".. and that sounds really good

Damn I'm glad my little girl is not POTUS..

This is hilarious ;).  You're right; the middle schoolers all think they're so slick, but their logical processing isn't up to par yet.

Yeah that's one of my favorites. It amazes me what she comes up with, she is smart as a whip. I'm an old guy and I worry so what the world is going to be like when she and her brother grow up....seems like we are surrounded by idiots and the idiots are winning..

All I can do is teach them as much as I can in the time I have left but with their attention span.... :shrug:

My daughter was a great kid, but a nightmare in her teens.  Now that she's in her early 20s and on her own, she's calmed down quite a bit as reality of adulthood has set in.  Hopefully, she won't follow the former every other decade trend and flake out in her 30s.

@edpc It's good to know it gets easier.  We're just trying to survive 8th grade, but I have a boy so some of the issues may be different.

@montanajoe Your daughter sounds adorable.  The best advice I heard about middle-high-school girls was to keep them busy, with as many sports as possible.

That's what I want to tell the kids -- if you're going to screw around, be smart enough not to get caught!  Don't tell stupid lies!  But of course, I don't want to encourage bad behavior ;).

I think she's also running for office in FL (?).  And I have no reason to think she's lying, especially considering their response.  Whether it's important or not is another issue.  Although there might be a campaign finance violation in the whole mess.  Could the $130,000 be Trump's blue dress?
