The spin going on right now on Fox News on whether she was on "personal time" or "government time" when she was stumping on TV for Roy Moore is funny.

It's not spin.  It's a genuine inquiry that I'm interested in.  I did not know members of President's staff were not allowed to have, or express, personal opinions.

Rush is talking about this now.  It's another nothingburger muchadoaboutnada....

ie it's just more leftie BS.

The Hatch Act is only ever mentioned (by DemocRats) if/when it concerns a non-DemocRat.

Really?  If you are that blind, maybe a dog?

Or if you're wearing orange glasses.

Hatch act violations...investigations into staff members potentially illegal activities...it's like the last 8 years all over again.

But I guess since it's Trump it's all ok now right?

LOL. You do that. In the meantime I am going to be here laughing my ass off as your state goes Rat as you sit here pounding away making silly points on a forum when you should have your lazy ass out hitting the streets getting GOP'ers elected.

Anyone who puts you on ignore has moronic tendencies.  You make some of the funniest posts on the forum ... even if I don't agree with you I laugh.

As long as they make it perfectly clear they are doing it on their own time.  If she's on Fox News or CNN and introduced as an aide to the President or his administration and then starts stumping for one candidate over the other...she's in violation of the Act.

It isn't until it is. I don't know if you have been keeping up with the news but Soros is on a Jihad to flip that state. He has a bunch of soldiers on the ground helping him. If I were there I personally would be concerned and doing something to combat that stealth move. Instead I am seeing some apathy here from locals that "It would never happen here". Well if the deck is stacked, it just might.

Yep!  I think it's highly unlikely but if the Republicans get complacent and Soros hands out enough money and rides to the polls and giving other perks to dem voters ... well, it would be a tragedy but possible.

Cruz needs to get his ass to Texas and do some old fashioned campaigning .... on issues that matter to Texans.

He better not lose this seat.

I would hope that he wouldn't lose his seat and as for him doing some old fashioned campaigning; he has an excellent ground game.  I have been posting articles for months that indicate that TX should not be considered safe as far as staying Red.  It could very easily go to the DEMS.  Over confidence is never a good thing during an election especially when the DEMS will stop at nothing in order to win.  Hillary and her antics are a prime example.

Also, the demographics of TX have changed just as they've changed here in FL.  Illegals have been pouring over our borders for decades and consequently the elections results in certain ares of FL have turned from GOP to DEM.  The GOP still has a predominate stronghold here, but for how long?  Especially if amnesty is granted, but that a whole other ballgame.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

^^^ This!  Everyone was convinced it was going "blue" with Wendy Davis.

Someone remind me how well that worked out for the Dems in Texas.

I'm getting ready to go vote in a few hours.   The idiot left in Texas will be defeated, once again and as usual, despite their usual BS and the asinine BS from certain naysayers here at TBR.

You are NOT going to turn that total bull crap on me.  If that is your only defense, you are even more pitiful than you've seemed so far.

I do not wear glasses of any color and that kind of remark seems to be your only argument when anyone tries to see reason.

Our President ... and by extension ... our current government and way of life are under daily threat by forces of evil and all you can do is sit back and whine and post idiocy.

IMHO the naysayers are letting their unnatural hatred of a certain Senator from Texas cloud their judgement and rationality on the subject.

Could be.  Question is.... since that certain Senator has embraced their orange god, why do they still hate him?   Answer that and a lot of 'other' questions will be resolved.

That's as stupid as some of your recent posts.

Frank is funny.  He's been mean to me at times and I certainly don't want to make any kind of overtures to him.

You don't like him because he's so good at kicking your butt.

I remember hearing something about her.  She was the next coming of Ann Richards right?  A Blonde whose main claim to fames was her ability fill out a sweater and who had a growth on her face that even a Austin Sewer Rat wouldn't gnaw off if it was basted with BBQ sauce.

Got the nickname "Abortion Barbie" because she filibustered for 11 hours on the Senate floor in Austin against the anti-abortion legislation that was being proposed on the heels of the discovery that Planned Parenthood was selling body parts.

I know.  lol She lived south of me somewhere in Fort Worth...at least when she wasn't swilling wine in Austin with the trendy folk.

Great insult... Kudos for the laugh.

Not really.  Most of those here that don't particularly like Trump happen to loathe the left/Democrats (myself included).

I am willing to support Trump as long as he doesn't lurch left and appease or try to appease the rats.  That does not mean, however, that he is free from criticism if/when he says something stupid.  JS....

Strange that he's not blaming departures on enemies......

It is amusing that violations of law, were routinely ignored by those charged with upholding the law when Obama and Hildabeast and William Jefferson were at the helms.

Especially the Republicans in Congress in varying 'investigative committees' that simply performed kabuki theater for angry masses.

Meanwhile, precedents are being attempted to be made to take out and take down the stooges in the Trump administration - so that if in the future, there is some real threat to the Uniparty Oligarchy - taking them out will be easy peasy.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775
