Hope Hicks resigns from White House

Hope Hicks said Wednesday that she will resign from her post as White House communications director.

The New York Times reported that Hicks told colleagues she had been considering resigning for months, and made her announcement internally on Wednesday.

President Trump said that Hicks is "a truly great person."

“Hope is outstanding and has done great work for the last three years,” the president said. “She is as smart and thoughtful as they come, a truly great person. I will miss having her by my side but when she approached me about pursuing other opportunities, I totally understood. I am sure we will work together again in the future.”

Hope Hicks actually told the House Committee she told "white" lies for Trump.
My God, she admitted to telling lies.  First, you don't tell lies in such an important position - never - because no one will ever believe you again if you tell one lie.

I grew up in a small community and was in church three times a week, then four times after I became church pianist.  I did not know people told lies until I was grown, went to college, then was among the general populace.  At that time, I learned some people lie.

If I had that job Hicks had, there would be no way I would lie - I would not do it.  If Trump told me I had to lie, I would leave right then.  One lie in that position, could bring down the whole White House, including Trump - and it may happen with her admission of telling lies.
