Sources: Carnage Could Have Been Far Worse In Florida School Massacre

PARKLAND (CBSMiami) – CBS4 News has obtained new information in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre which left 17 people dead.

An official briefed on the shooting investigation tells CBS4 News that the carnage could have been far worse.

Investigators believe self-confessed gunman Nikolas Cruz had planned on using a vantage point on the third-floor stairwell on the west side of the building to shoot at students as they fled the building.

Looks like Cruz was trying to copy the Las Vegas shooter's tactic of firing indiscriminately at a crowd from a high vantage point.

There was also this odd aspect of the shooter’s supplies left at the scene....

Florida school shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz had swastikas ammunition magazines he brought into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. 14, a federal law enforcement source with direct knowledge of the investigation told CBS News on Tuesday. Cruz has been charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder.

"Cruz had swastikas ammunition magazines"  What does that mean?  He had drawn swastikas on his magazines?  Or, is that a special type of magazine?

You can buy 'skins' for magazine.  Simply a colorful plastic sleeve which you put on the magazine.  https://www.gunskins.com/products/ar-15-mag-skin

However I've never seen them with swastikas so I'm betting he had drawn this himself.

I am.  Pennsylvania's Supreme Court has unconstitutionally injected itself into the realm of the legislature by forcing re-districting ahead of the 2018 elections.   It is clearly a political ploy related to the Trump resistance.  And it may well cost Republicans three or more seats.
