 Elizabeth Warren's stealth campaign to shed 'Pocahontas'

The potential 2020 candidate has made a series of moves this year to neutralize a nagging political vulnerability.

Elizabeth Warren’s surprise address this month on her disputed Native American heritage was just one piece of a concerted campaign by the Massachusetts senator and potential 2020 hopeful to put the controversy behind her.

Derisively nicknamed “Pocahontas” by President Donald Trump over allegations that she used claims of Native American heritage to get a head start in her job search — a claim she and former colleagues strongly deny — Warren has met with close to a dozen tribal leaders and prominent activists recently.

She has also signed onto at least six bills directly related to Native American policy. It’s clearly an organized effort: Four of those co-sponsorships came within two days of her speech, and Warren endorsed two bills around that time even though they’d been introduced months earlier.

Deep bench the rat have this season. Liz "Two Dogs Screwing" Warren,  Kamila "Am I Black" Harris and Hilarry "The Enforcer" Clinton are on the prowl.

All she needs to do, is take an Ancestry DNA test. But she is a slick double-talking lawyer, who thinks smart voters will fall for her word parsing babble.

Just do the DNA test already. Native American is unique and the test will reveal the truth. The science is solid.

I think she has had her DNA privately analyzed already and the test came back with no Indian heritage. She must want to know even just for herself.

If the test would have come back with a positive result, she would have plastered it in every newspaper in the country. The fact that she refuses to publish the results tells me all I need to know about her stolen heritage and cultural appropriation.

In all fairness to Liz.  When she said she had some native American in her she was talking about a one night stand with an extra on the set of the 2nd Billy Jack.
