Man with measles may have infected the Met, NYC hotels...
« on: February 24, 2018, 11:46:56 pm »
LOL.  30 years ago this would have never made a blip in anyone's radar!  Man I hope he infected thousands during his visit!   Rise up antivaxers....Rise up

An Australian tourist with a confirmed case of the measles visited several hotels, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and various health facilities in the Big Apple and northern suburbs, officials warned.

Anyone who might have been near the visitor between Feb. 16 and 21 could have been infected and should see a doctor unless they’d been vaccinated, the Department of Health said Friday.

Symptoms of the disease include a rash, cough, fever and “pink eye.’’ The symptoms usually show up within 10 to 12 days after the exposure.

Yikes. Just when you thought it was safe to visit the Met.
