American History Professor Denounces Those Who Believe in Limited Government as “Autistic”

Conservatives and libertarians — i.e., those who hold to the principles that this country was founded on and that produced its tremendous success — suffer from autism, according to Nancy MacLean, a history professor at Duke University.

    MacLean is the author of Democracy in Chains, a left-leaning missive against Nobel Prize-winning economist James Buchanan, a supporter of free markets and small government. In her book, MacLean contends that Buchanan only became libertarian in a “last gasp attempt to preserve the white elite’s power.”
