Broward Sheriff’s deputies were called to school shooter Nikolas Cruz's family home 39 times since 2010, according to documents obtained Thursday by CNN.

The sheriff’s office received a range of emergency calls that included: “mentally ill person,” “child/elderly abuse,” “domestic disturbance,” “missing person,” and several others.

Details of those calls were not immediately available; most of them are marked “no written report.”

Families of the victims should be directing their questions at local authorities, instead of the NRA.

Ah, but see -- it's the gun's fault.

but ya see 'reasonable' gun control would solve the problem

As our resident Leftist just told us, our rights are not 'absolute'.

They are merely privileges granted by government.

Therefore we should support 'Reasonable' abolishment of those privileges.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

I hope everybody is fine with these 39 times, and yet a failure to put this guy in lockup, in order to prevent 17 deaths.

After all, his "liberty" comes ahead of those lives.

My common sense informs me that 39 times, somebody (neighbor, friend) did as we are warned. "See something, say something."

And 39 times, there was the wrong outcome.

"God must love the common man, he made so many of them.  Abe Lincoln

The community outrage is totally misplaced.

Reasonable parent or gaurdian control would have prevented him from having a gun in the first place. Taking action starts with them
