Dem knocks Trump's defense for blocking release of second memo: 'Nice try'

Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.) on Saturday knocked President Trump's defense for not releasing a Democratic memo meant to rebut GOP claims of political bias in law enforcement, calling Trump's move a "nice try" and questioning his motives.

Trump decided Friday not to declassify the memo written by Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee over administration officials' “especially significant concerns” for “national security and law enforcement interests.”

"The Democrats sent a very political and long response memo which they knew, because of sources and methods (and more), would have to be heavily redacted, whereupon they would blame the White House for lack of transparency," Trump tweeted Saturday.

Who the hell is that? May as well have been Phil Huffnaggle from Oshkosh saying this for all anyone cares.

He sits on the committees of natural resources and science, space, technology.  Unless he was read in and on the intel committee, nothing he says as a congressman means a damn thing.
