No better way to kill the economy than raise gas taxes 25¢ a gallon, as state and locals will follow suit and then anything transported using fuel gets a nice fuel surcharge attached to food, goods and services.

someone in the State (reality check: we haven't had a properly-construed government for a very long time) will figure out a better way---and get it done. (To us.)
