Publishers move up date for Comey memoir

The publisher of former FBI Director James Comey's memoir announced Wednesday it will move up the release date for his upcoming book.

Flatiron Books said in a statement that there is a pressing demand for Comey's voice in the "urgent conversation" about the FBI. The statement comes as President Trump and Republicans continue to accuse the bureau of political bias as it conducts an investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Comey's book, “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership,” was set to be released in May 2018. The book will now be released on April 17.

Might be wise.  Not sure how well his book will sell when he’s in the pokie.
