Nunes memo raises question: Did FBI violate Woods Procedures?

The point is: There are strict rules requiring that each and every fact presented in an FBI request to electronically spy on a U.S. citizen be extreme-vetted for accuracy — and presented to the court only if verified.

There’s no dispute that at least some, if not a great deal, of information in the anti-Trump “Steele dossier” was unverified or false. Former FBI director James Comey testified as much himself before a Senate committee in June 2017. Comey repeatedly referred to “salacious” and “unverified” material in the dossier, which turned out to be paid political opposition research against Donald Trump funded first by Republicans, then by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

The more I read about this, the more I wonder about this FISA Judge.  Seems to be the most incurious human on the planet.   Four separate warrants and he doesn't even question the FBI about it?

For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16

Apparently.... having an "unquestioning mind" is not unusual for a FISA judge (warrant requests are rarely, if ever, turned down).  Which just illustrates yet another thing that needs to be fixed in this corrupt and crappy system.

As an American citizen, I find this frightening.  I’d like to see this FISA mess rescinded as it is a license to destroy Americans.  I assume it won’t or can’t be until all this comes out in the open or Rs will be accused of attempting to obstruct justice for Trump.  It’s all so convoluted that it makes me dizzy.

Yes it does.  Why bother with a warrant at all if they are just going to be rubberstamped without review?

In the highly politicized Obama/Holder Justice Department....with appointees from radical law firms...people that represented terrorists locked in GITMO...vetting and factual evidence didn't matter.

They make lawyer Jimmy McGill look honest and credible.

Well, it certainly doesn’t work well when I don’t even try.  I usually search, but I completely forgot this time.   888blushing8888

Every time I search it pulls threads from 2012.

Same here.  The only time it works for me is if I search for the entire title.  Phrases of the title never seem to bring it up.  Even the entire title doesn’t always work, but does work more than not for me.
