FBI Director Must Be Prepared to Resign Over Nunes Memo, Ex-Agents Warn
As Trump prepares to release a GOP document accusing the FBI of abuses, bureau alums hope Director Chris Wray holds the line—but has to be ready to walk.

Former FBI agents are warning that FBI Director Christopher Wray has to be prepared to quit, should President Donald Trump assent over bureau objections to the release of a memo calling the FBI’s integrity into question.

The release of the memo, considered imminent, shows no signs of stopping, even as the leader of Democrats in the House called on its Republican author, Devin Nunes, to be removed from his chairmanship of the House intelligence committee. It was the latest move in an extraordinary episode that appears set to spark a crisis over the criminal investigation into Trump’s potential ties to Russia.

Let the chips fall. The FBI will have been responsible for their own misfortune.

Did the Boston Marathon and San Bernardino and Orlando and other attacks, take place because FBI priorities were misplaced?

If Wray has to go, so be it. It seems that he is willing to go down to protect a corrupt entity.

It appears to me that all the ex-FBI directors are just as corrupt as the current FBI.  They want him to have the willingness to “walk” in an attempt to stop the release.

Release the damned memo.

Interesting,  I believe the FBI was monitoring all of those people but didn't stop them. 

They had an agent tailing the guys who committed the Curtis Culwell Center but did nothing to stop them.

How about they get rid of the corrupt political appointees at the top, reaffirm the mission, and appoint competent field leaders to the top?

This process is imperfect. It is disruptive.

The weaponized FBI and DOJ high-ups, protected Clinton and framed Trump.

Details to follow. Wray seems conflicted.

He may be getting pulled by FBI good guys trying to not endanger agents in the fields, sources and methods etc.

Then pulled the other way to release.

Isn't there another layer whereby the intelligence branches report to a national director? DNI?

Funny how no one resigned after sweeping multiple Hillary crimes under the rug. Any other person who put high level state secrets on their home Email server would be in prison - period. The FBI is corrupt. It needs to be laid bare for all to see.

I am shocked that this bombshell memo hasen't leaked yet. That tells me it is going to be a nuclear bomb that will take out a lot of Deep State hacks.
