ACLU Complains: Trump Said 'America' More Than 80 Times in His Speech; It's 'Exclusionary'

(CNSNews.com) - The American Civil Liberties Union -- note the word "American" in its title -- complained Monday night about President Trump's repeated use of the word "America" in his State of the Union speech.

In a written response [1] to Trump's speech, Faiz Shakir, the ACLU's national political director, said:

Spending on roads and bridges is something our govt should do.    They need to cut spending on welfare and other areas.

So maybe the American Civil Liberties Union should change its name to something more accurate. 

'But somehow the "Black, Muslim, LGBT, Illegal Alien, Syrian Refugee Civil Liberties Union" seems a bit cumbersome.
