They did the best they could.  At the 1st rehearsal when the turned the camera lights on it washed him out so badly all you saw was a shirt and a floating tuft of red hair above it.
The crew started calling him "Casper" Kennedy.

"It's hard to grade Donald Trump, because he'll say one thing on the exam, but he'll do something completely different for the rest of the semester," Simmons told The Hill. "On the speech perhaps, it was a maybe a C or C+. He delivered it well. But by the time you see this, there may be another tweet out that completely contradicts what he said.
 
"I think Joe Kennedy definitely gets one of the highest marks when he gave the response," Simmons said. "It was definitely a little bit of a liberal speech, it was definitely a liberal call to arms. But he talked about really not having to choose between Americans. I think that's something that's incredibly important where we are today. We have a president who seems like he's always trying to make us choose between a small group of Americans ... and the wide group of all the rest of us who Democrats want to include in the American dream."

Problem is, their dream is of socialism and equal misery, except for those in the ruling class.  That's not American at all.

He drooled AND he made a fool out of himself and the DEM party.  He tried to speak with conviction and authority as if he was some kind of great leader and a rising star of the DEM party and he FAILED.  Quite frankly, I find it comforting that the DEMS have just revealed that right now they have no one to raise up their party; they tried to bring to the stage someone who they thought was their ace in the hole because of his last name and he failed miserably.  He did not come across polished or articulate and certainly was not charismatic in anyway. The drool and poor make up job distracted even more from his lackluster speech. Perhaps the background scenery was supposed to show that he's just the average 'Joe' (pun intended) but even that failed...BIGLY!    :silly:
