Anita Hill recently spoke at UConn and the event was advertised as free and open to the public. Why is Ben Shapiro being treated differently?

The Daily Wire reports:

CENSORSHIP: UConn Bans Public From Hearing Shapiro Speak

As Spencer Brown of Young America’s Foundation reports, a “review” instituted by the University of Connecticut of Wednesday night’s lecture by Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro has triggered the decision by the university to prevent members of the public from attending unless they are on a pre-registered list.

I guess "free speech" is an oxymoron at UConn.

Most of academia has been taken over by the Marxists who oppose free speech. So yes it is very
likely UConn is against free speech.
