Victory? British girls school to stop calling students, um… “girls”

Just in case you were worried that the United States was the only place in the western world where political correctness and social just warrior initiatives have left civilization circling the drain in the sink of sanity, fear not. The United Kingdom is dealing with the same problems and, at least in some cases, failing the test just as poorly. At Altrincham Grammar School for Girls in Manchester, one of the top rated schools in the nation based on standardized test scores, the School for “girls” part of their name is now in question. You see, as the Daily Mail recently reported, they’ve become worried that referring to the girls under their care as … girls, might be offensive if any of the children are “transitioning” to a different gender.
