Trump's Nightmare [2018 Midterms]
« on: January 14, 2018, 07:43:58 pm »
Trump's day of reckoning ... The one thing that could dramatically diminish President Trump’s chances of avoiding impeachment and chalking up legislative wins is Democrats winning the House.

And, thanks to series of recent developments, Trump knows this no longer just seems plausible, but probable.

Hill sources tell us that a House Democratic takeover is now likely.

One strategist close to Republican leaders believes that a loss of the House is "baked in," and said top Republicans don't see a way to avoid it.

It would take a flip of 24 seats for Dems to take over. The average loss for the president's party in his first midterm is about 32 seats, and we're hearing forecasts of 40+ losses.

I’m still not seeing this, but time will tell.

If true, this would be an epic disaster.

Trump's not going to be impeached.   The Rats are all talk on that.

True enough; but losing the House is the disaster I'm referring to.

Remember what happened with Reagan's first midterms?

And I might suggest that it might not be such a disaster for Trump as some may think.

I hope you are right.  They seem fairly crazy to me.

He will probably be relieved to finally drop the ‘I’m so conservative’ act.

The Rats are all about the crazy.  They are bug eyed bastards like Chuckie on SOA rubbing one out on Gemma's couch chanting "impeach impeach impeach, midterms midterms midterms.
"I'm a man, but I changed, because I had to. Oh well."

It's just too early yet to make predictions about the mid-terms.

Too much could happen between now and mid-summer. I will go so far to predict that there will be at least one or two -major events- that occur during this time that will alter the entire atmosphere of the campaign.

I sense that Trump will retain his base going into the midterms, and Republicans in red and some purple districts will even GAIN in support.

All this talk of democrat-communist takeovers of both the House and Senate are attempts to poison the well sufficiently in advance with the prospect of tipping the outcome.

And the talk is cheap.
