Republicans to propose $30 billion to fund border wall
by Pete Kasperowicz | Jan 9, 2018, 9:40 PM

Four House Republicans will introduce legislation Wednesday that provides $30 billion to build a border wall and fulfill President Trump's most famous campaign promise.

After Trump met in the White House with Republicans and Democrats on Tuesday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., said the bill would be coming on Wednesday. In an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, he and other sponsors outlined the core of the bill.

"Our bill would provide $30 billion to build a wall, to invest in new technology, and to improve, modernize and expand ports of entry," they wrote.

That is a start.

Even better than the wall.. or better yet adjunct too, is E-verify.

I've always had a problem with e-verify.  IMHO there are too may illegals here that work under the table and will continue to be unable to track. To the best of my knowledge, hospitals and emergency rooms are still accepting Matricula Counselar identification cards for registration and medical services.  So ... e-verify it would seem is a way for Big Brother to track U.S. citizens.  Those that are here illegally have already found ways around the check and balances of the 'system' in order to benefit from the 'system'.  The increase in stolen identities, bank accounts, credit card fraud, etc., is happening for a reason.

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.
