@Frank Cannon In all seriousness a round home is the most efficient, It encompasses the most are with the smallest perimeter, consequently it requires less material to have the same number of square feet of living space. Heating and cooling is generally more efficient further cutting cost, and because there is less exterior surface area the amount of heat/ cooling exchange is lower which would reduce cost even further.

So they're for poor people.

Yeah. So much stigma attached to it they even throw in squared off architectural elements to make the place look a little more upscale.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

They're also ugly as hell.  I remember some of these eyesores being built when I was a kid.

This, from the same buttheads who advanced from the "round" movement.  Thankfully neither design caught on with anyone who was not a pinko commie hippy or your gay types..

Come to the ObamaLand Resort!

We've got a kitchen, a recording studio, a yoga room and a basketball court... but no actual papers. Whaddaya think this is, anyway? A library?

Take a good look at some of the "Eagle nest" designs or the Rob Roy Cordwood, you might change your mind.

The only one I ever found impressive was the Lars homestead in the Jundland Wastes.
