President Donald Trump took a break from a Camp David strategy session with top Republicans on Saturday to make some unscheduled comments to reporters.

Asked if he would comply if special counsel Robert Mueller requested to speak with him as part of the investigation into whether Russia interfered with the 2016 election, Trump repeated his assertion that “there’s been no collusion” and said that “there’s been no crime.”

“It’s making our country look foolish,” the president said about the investigation, “and it’s not going to look foolish as long as I’m here.”

I think you meant properly, but whatever.....I guess we weren’t including grammar usage.

Yeah, it's a Freudian slip.

Because he is correct, even though it's almost certainly not what he was trying to say.

Democracy sucks. And without the Electoral College we'd have even more of it, so much more of it we'd never get out from under it.

It would in the sense it was meant to convey.

But on the technical merits, the actual essence of it, yeah, he was correct.

Without the Electoral College we would be living in a true Democracy like the People's 'One Man One Vote' nightmares that sprouted up in 20th Century Africa.

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

He identified Senator John McCain, a Republican presidential candidate, as a possible Secretary of Defense. Trump said he would consider Democratic Congressman Charles Rangel for Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and mentioned retired General Colin Powell as a possible Secretary of State. He praised General Electric CEO Jack Welch, and discussed him as either Secretary of Treasury or running mate. He again mentioned Oprah Winfrey as a possible running mate.

No. He was saying it because Obama had won the election.

He also wanted massive protests in DC to protest the fact that Obama had "Gamed the (electoral) system" to win.
