Tragic news this afternoon as we’re learning that Representative Elijah Cummings, a Democrat who represents the 7th District in Maryland, has been hospitalized.

Politico broke the story just a few minutes ago:

    Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) is currently hospitalized, three sources told POLITICO, the latest setback in a string of health issues that have plagued the longtime lawmaker since last year.

Cummings’s wife, Maya Rockeymoore, has suspended her campaign for governor of Maryland.  I guess making a positive and direct contribution to the state of Maryland and to the nation must and will be put on hold till her dear husband recovers from this "toe" issue.

He was initially supposed to have a heart valve replacement but complications led to him spending more time in the hospital.

maybe he did get that heart valve.................from a pig, and now all his health problems are from him fighting himself.
