Is this like the stats of 1 in 5 children not having enough food and then finding out they were asked "Have you ever been hungry?"
Don't get me started on the hunger scam. My wife more than a few times has stopped me from throwing a brick through our tv screen when the hunger liars start yapping. Like the myth about one in five college females being sexually assaulted, the left is promoting the idea that one in six children go hungry.
Well, where are these hungry children? I've posed that question to a number of people on different forums and have yet to get a response.
Now if there are actually large numbers of hungry children across the country, then I'm all for programs/efforts to see they're fed. No doubt there are unfortunate children who have evil parents who deliberately starve and abuse them or who are so strung out on drugs they omit feeding their children.
But again, where are they? I don't even believe one in a thousand children go hungry much less one in six.
But, naturally, if you doubt the hunger stats, you're accused of being a heartless fiend. Hey, if you're hungry, knock on my door, and I'll give you something to eat.
But don't "feed" me bogus stats about millions of hungry children.
