Anyone in NJ who would like a list of school closings for today or future reference, since the Farmers Almanac says it's going to be a cold, snowy winter, is at this URL.

Nuthin but cold in my neck of the woods. Single and below zero till about Sunday when the heat wave hits a brings us up into the mid 20s.

I'm weird. I actually *like* winter. I'd rather be cold than hot. I couldn't live somewhere warm.

I have my hot cocoa, some good books from the library - bring it on!!!

(I just wish I had a fireplace)

I have the pellet stove which isn't exactly like a fireplace but does produce good heat and the flickering yellow orange light.
