More than 808,000 Children of Immigrants Turn 18, Eligible to Vote Each Year

Nearly a million U.S.-born citizen children of immigrants are turning 18 each year and will be eligible to vote, according to an analysis of U.S. Census data issued this month by the Center for Immigration Studies.

In a short assessment of the overall totals of immigrants and their citizen children in the U.S., CIS’s Steven Camarota reports that in 2014 there were 42,235,749 immigrants in the U.S., and 16,773,337 U.S.-born children under the age of 18 had either an immigrant mother or father. This means, combined, there are are 59,009,086 immigrants and their U.S.-born children in the U.S.

My Grandfather was the child of an immigrant. When he was 18 years old he was busy losing toes to frostbite and his hearing to German 88mm shells in the Ardennes. Wouldn't you know it, he had the audacity to come back here and vote.

Maybe one would like California where immigration, legal and illegal appears to have totally changed that state.

Yes, let's be happy with a populace that might change in demographics,  50% or more in some cases over a pace of 20 years, it's never been done before so why not now?

Texas will be the next domino to fall if things continue as they have, it already is at two thirds the number of illegals in California and while California is seeing a small reduction, Texas has become the number one destination for new illegals. Add to that the internal rot growing in Texas from it's university cities and liberals and they are certainly at risk, my sincere hope is they can stop the rot before they follow California. The sad truth is that illegals from many countries are surging into every state of the union and they are facilitated by democrats in all three branches of the government.
