The 7 Biggest Conservative Wins of 2017

Supreme Court Justice
In one of his first big acts as President, Trump selected Judge Neil Gorsuch to fill the Supreme Court vacancy left by the late Justice Antonin Scalia. A little over two (rather tense) months later, the Senate confirmed Gorsuch’s nomination by a vote of 54-45, and, on April 10th, he was sworn in as the newest member of the High Court. Conservatives cheered - and rightfully so. Gorsuch is an outstanding pick.

Pulling Out of the Paris Climate Agreement

Back in June, President Trump put “America first,” as he so often promises, and formally withdrew the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement.
“In order to fulfill my solemn duty to protect America and its citizens, the United States will withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord,” he said in an announcement from the White House Rose Garden. “We will begin negotiations to re-enter either the Paris Accord, or an entirely new agreement.”
Well, it’s official. After passing in the House, the Senate and the House again, the GOP tax reform bill, known as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, was signed into law by

I don't think I want it to.  From what I've read about the House Bill, it tightens gun control quite a bit.  that will not get it any Dem votes, but hopefully will peel away enough Rep votes to kill it.

I'd love to see reciprocity, but the cost is too high.

Somewhere in all of this the list needs to include the lessening of regulations on businesses and citizens.  Getting the govt out of our hair is a big, big step to returning to freedom.

Better that the states themselves come up with reciprocity on their own.

Most already have.  It's the insane gun-grabbers of CA, NY and IL that are the hold outs.  With a CCW from AZ I can carry in MI and every state in between, except IL.

Not yet.  I just posted the picture to annoy @Oceander.  That loser just sent me a private message saying the pic was too big and that I was using up space that could be used by more significant posts.

I guess he meant significant as in 1000 post threads on Roy Moore.

But I'll be careful about that in the future.  It is a really cute picture though, doncha think?

I don't give a damn if you post it - as far as Trump worship images go, it's not the worst - what I objected to was your having it in your signature line.  The signature line is replicated on every post you make.

It was not in my signature line.

Looks like it is an attachment, which comes under a line and looks like a signature.  The problem I have with attachments is I can't control the image size like I can with a regular "img" HTML code.  I can't preview it either, so I have to be really careful using the attachment feature because I can't tell if it's weird until after I really post it.

Great picture Emjay.  Thanks for posting.   888high58888   :silly:

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

@Emjay

No.  That 80s perm looks like trash.

Don’t you know how to resize images so they’re not too large for a post?  I always do it.  Though I guess it’s more fun to wallow in a persecution complex.
