Trump draws attention to case against ex-Dem IT aide Imran Awan
« on: December 29, 2017, 06:37:44 pm »
President Trump is drawing attention to the mysterious federal court case against Imran Awan, the former IT aide to a number of congressional Democrats, including former Democratic National Committee chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

“Whatever happened to this Pakistani guy who worked with the DNC?” the president asked in an interview published Thursday by the New York Times.

A grand jury in August returned an indictment in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia charging Awan and his wife, Hina Alvi, with a total of four counts, which included federal bank fraud and conspiracy. Awan has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Good! It needs all the light possible shined on it!
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Now it's ok for him to 'tweet'?? I think Trump has been trying to accomplish the impossible all along with his 'tweets'; making the MSM irrelevant.

It’s always been okay for him to Tweet, but the dumb shit he Tweets is a waste of his time. His recent Tweet about Amazon and USPS is an example of this. As far as the MSM, they were in the process of making themselves irrelevant without Trump. Actually, it’s sites like this that do that, and not a politician. We don’t need politicians making the press irrelevant anyway.

I don't believe that a president or anyone in politics should 'tweet' ... but that's my old fashioned mindset ... it's worked well for Trump, as to a degree, it's curbed the liberal slant from the MSM .  Secondly, I believe it is keeping the LIV who wouldn't otherwise pay any attention to what's going on involved.

Agreed.  We make our living in IT.  I am stunned at the attitude they ard taking toward this guy's behavior.
