If Trump Cut Aid to Countries That Oppose Us At The UN, Here’s How Much We’d Save

Several United Nations countries were furious when President Trump announced that the US will recognize Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel and begin the process of moving U.S. embassies there.
Last week, the UN General Assembly voted to declare Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital “null and void.†The resolution was passed 128-9 with 35 abstentions, according to Fox News.
Many countries that enjoy massive amounts of financial aid from the US, including Egypt, Afghanistan, and Iraq, completely ignored letters from US Ambassador Nikki Haley warning that the US was watching carefully to see who would oppose the decision by vote.
