Panic at the Washington Post

The Washington Post is worried. The lead headline in today’s paper edition reads: “Mueller criticism grows to a clamor — FBI Conspiracy Claim Takes Hold — Driven by activists, GOP lawmakers, Trump tweets.”

Turnabout is fair play. Last year around this time, an honest newspaper could easily have written: “Trump criticism grows to a clamor — Russia Collusion Takes Hold — Driven by activists, Democratic lawmakers, leaks.”

A year ago, an honest newspaper could not have written that the Trump collusion criticism was driven by the FBI. The facts supporting such a headline were not known. Now we have good reason to suspect that the FBI was, in fact, advancing the collusion claim.

The problem with this article is basing their criticism of the Washington Post on:

"reportedly offered money"
"may well have used information"
"reportedly"

The writer is making it up as he goes - using supposition of "maybe" it happened.  Until Mueller has finished his investigation we don't know what he has found or not found.  He was highly regarded when he started this investigation, now he is being hit by Trump and his followers over and over to discredit him.  This has happened with every special prosecutor when it involved a president.

My own opinion is, Trump and his campaign people made mistakes by talking with people connected to Russia.   If Mueller finds more than that, he will tell us.

Mueller is being discredited because he used Hillary's little black book to choose his staff. Almost all the people on his staff worked on Hillary's campaign, were Hillary donors, or were attorneys for Hillary or entities related to Hillary. Mueller himself is BFF with Comey, who was the person who leaked confidential information to the press with the deliberate specific intent of creating a special investigation.


More than just that, his staff is bloated beyond belief. At last check, his staff was up to 275 members and it is still growing by chain nomination. Mueller brings a guy on, and then that guy brings on all his friends and family, and then the friends and family members bring their friends and family into the investigation, and it never stops. Unless Mueller is shut down, soon his staff may top the staff of the EPA.


He is not 'conducting an investigation', he is creating a brand new Hillary supporting/Hillary led government administration inside the Trump administration.


Mueller is not being criticized for what he is 'finding'. Because he hasn't found anything. He is being criticized because of his openly pro-Hillary, pro-Comey, stance, and his cadre of Hillary cheerleaders that he brought with him.
