FORT SMITH, Ark. (Tribune News Service) — Those with access to Vietnam War-era photographs of area fallen U.S. soldiers can help piece together an ongoing, nationwide project.

Volunteers with the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund are seeking photographs from the family, friends and acquaintances of those soldiers whose names appear on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., said Janna Hoehn, one of the volunteers. The photographs will be posted at www.vvmf.org to pay tribute to and show "eternal respect" for those who lost their lives during the Vietnam War, she said.
