Mitch McConnell plays Grinch and delivers really bad news to DACA supporters

On Tuesday, McConnell made it clear that there will no fix for the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program this year.

“No, we’ll not be doing DACA this week,” McConnell told Fox News. “That’s a matter to be discussed next year. The president has given us until March to address that issue. We have plenty of time to do that.”

And since “this week” refers to the end of Congressional work until January, DACA “Dreamers” will have to wait until next year for something to potentially be done.
