You do realize that all these "foundations" rich kids set up are simply tax shelters, right?

@jmyrlefuller
And yet the rich pay far more tax then the non-rich.   strange

There "were a lot of things that I observed during the last year that I was very unhappy with,” she said.

"But when I have my story to tell as the only African-American woman in this White House; as a senior staff and assistant to the president, I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people. And when I can tell my story, it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear," Manigault added.

In her role in the Trump administration, Manigault was among the White House advisers earning the highest salary ($179,700 a year), according to a White House list of staff salaries.

She was in charge of outreach to the leaders of HBCUs (historically black colleges and universities) and also oversaw the president’s visit to the Smithsonian’s African American museum in Washington, D.C. But Manigault's day-to-day duties could not be pinpointed and, according to Politico, she used the White House as a backdrop for her 39-person bridal party to take wedding photos.

A new article is out now:

More fake news and tabloid gossip from the leftist media without any facts to support it.

Quoting anything from the media is suspicious in the first place.

Oh pleeze. The woman had no discernible qualifications or accomplishments other than to take up space and be an annoyance for nearly $200k per year.

NY Post, she is saying she wasn't physically escorted....

https://nypost.com/2017/12/14/omarosa-i-was-profoundly-disturbed-by-trumps-white-house/

The article really doesn't say much.

I think it says a lot.

There were a lot of things she was unhappy with.

She would like another job with this administration.

If I had the money and the tax code allowed it, I would do it too. I don’t fault them, I fault Congress for allowing it.

That isn't the point. Trump didn't wake up one day and decide to become Mother Theresa. He was called by his team of accountants and lawyers and told he needed to do this for tax reasons.

Those so called advisors will get paid no matter who they are, family or not. So...non issue.

A president is entitled to trusted advisors. No one person, no matter how smart, can get their arms around all of the issues this country faces without them. So...who would you trust more than family members?

It is an issue if they have no skills or experience and thus cannot advise the president on anything.

As to family members -- the question remains, what do they know about the issues that would qualify them to advise the president!  As far as I can tell, Trump's children and the son-in-law have lived lives of luxury -- if not all their lives, then certainly in recent years. They are so far removed from the struggles of everyday Americans.  About all they think  they know comes from the media and we all know how inaccurate and biased that is.   Have any of them been to hell holes like North Korea or Africa?  What do they know about terrorism?  When was the last time they visited a dying former mill town or a slum, or better yet, lived for a time in one of those places? Have they ever tried to stretch a Social Security check to last till the next one comes?

President Kennedy had his brother, Bobby, as Attorney General.  But at least Bobby had a law degree and legal experience. What do the adult Trump children and the son-in-law bring to the table?

Trump supporters elected a president. They did not elect a royal family.  If you want to live under a monarchy, there are a number of them around the world with plenty of do-nothing relatives the taxpayers have to pay for.  The founders did not intend for this country to have a monarchy and I for one would rather live in a country without one.

Severance. I've seen it happen a lot in the corporate world, a person get's fired, even escorted out of the building, but they stay on the payroll and sometimes on benefits for a period of time afterward.

And, it's hard to take the money and then come back and sue.

Fired White House staffer Omarosa Manigault warns she will divulge administration's secrets
by Anna Giaritelli | Dec 14, 2017, 9:33 AM

Omarosa Manigault, outgoing director of the White House Office of Public Liaison, hinted Thursday she plans to tell the public about inappropriate things she witnessed while a member of President Trump's White House this year.

Manigault told ABC News on Thursday there "were a lot of things that I observed during the last year that I was very unhappy with."

"But when I have my story to tell as the only African-American woman in this White House, as a senior staff and assistant to the president, I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people and when I can tell my story, it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear," Manigault added.

Severance is also an incentive to stay, even if a job sucks, until you're forced out.

Trump's picks have mostly been a great disappointment.

LOL. This isn't a "pick". This is some low level desk jockey job that campaign workers get for supporting the winning team. I don't even think this broad had a recognizable title. White House Office of Public Liaison? Really? That's a bullshit job if there ever was one.

BS job is right.  $200K for a no-show job.  As for "spilling secrets," let's see how far that $200K will go when she has to start paying it back for violating her NDA.

Or pay the team of attorneys she'll need.

Both, if I know the President. :police:

I see no problem with that.  If I had tax lawyers and the resources, I would expect my tax lawyers to do the same.  Therein is the problem with the tax laws, not the people that are advantage of the laws.

I'm willing to bet that there's a whole bunch of dems who would be happy to support her lawsuit...
