He didn't step down. He's still a senator until he says he's not.

The DNC may have other ideas, I don't think they're very happy about this.

Trump Jr. mocks Franken's resignation speech
http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/363768-trump-jr-mocks-frankens-resignation-speech

Don Jr is naive if he thinks the Dems aren't doing this to come after his father at some point.  Franken even alluded to it........

"I of all people am aware that there is some irony in the fact I am leaving while a man who has bragged on tape of his history of sexual assault is in the Oval Office, and a man who has repeatedly preyed on young girls has the full support of his party,” Franken said.
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

Al Franken really seems to believe he's done nothing wrong.

He's basically arguing that he's been marginalized as a Senator and therefore must now step down.

In his world, that is the truth.

Bet he's waiting to see what happens in the Alabama election.

Absolutely right.

Should Judge Moore win his election, Franken isn't going anywhere.

Democrats make up their "own truth."

They have no concept as to what the real thing is.

Been there did that. The Rats played this hand and failed. No one cares.

Those who said he would not resign were right. He did not resign. He merely said that maybe he will resign sometime in the future, if he decides to.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
