The man believed to be responsible for a series of shootings deaths in Tampa, Florida was detained Tuesday and police plan to charge him with four counts of first-degree murder, authorities said.

Acting on a tip about someone with a gun, officers found the man, identified as Howell E. Donaldson III, 24, at a McDonald's in Tampa's Ybor City neighborhood, Police Chief Brian Dugan told reporters.

I know one of the victims was black.

It's so sad, a great state but they do seem to have a problem with the murder rate there. Huge population so it might look bigger than what it realistically is. A friend of mine had to phone in some sort of emergency there and then, ended up worrying if he was going to be called as a witness to a murder trial. I think the prosecutors let it go because all he was, was the one who called 911.
