Well, since I am the woman participating, and we all know it's only the woman's opinion that matters, and I am having a grand time setting the men up with some silly jokes and not feeling the least bit abused, I'm going to rule that what is going on on this thread is not the same thing as what Lauer or any of the rest of them were busted for.

meh. I had a similar button at the front of the board-room table. It was to engage privacy and prevent interruption, but it was never used for the purpose alluded to. And it does not prevent exit without being a direct violation of fire code - So I highly doubt Building Maintenance would allow such a thing. Likely hyperbolic breathlessness...
