Secret EU rebellion RISES UP against Merkel as Paris NOT Frankfurt seen as the SOLUTION

A decision on where the European Banking Authority should be based after Brexit was made last week following a vote by 27 EU countries in Brussels.

And member states decided it should move from London to the French capital rather than Germany’s financial centre.  Alarms has been raised in Germany that the influence of Berlin could have shrunk so quickly after Mrs Merkel’s election bruising.

And some members of Mrs Merkel’s CDU party are convinced that a number of countries which promised to support the German bid went back on their word.

Germany’s own representative in the Council of Ministers, Michael Roth, may have also voted for Paris, going against Berlin’s instructions to favour Dublin, Spiegel reported.
