Reminder: Good Men Died Searching for Bergdahl

Late Friday morningArmy Judge Col. Jeffery R. Nance ruled Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl will not face prison time for walking off his base eight years ago and abandoning his platoon mates.

Bergdahl's defense argued he has been punished enough by being held captive by the Taliban, which radio traffic showed he purposely sought out, and shouldn't be subjected to further captivity. Nance bought it and Bergdahl will simply face a dishonorable discharge, have his rank stripped and will pay $10,000.

I know it sounds bad that he is not in prison, and it is in a way.
But his whole life is shit now, he is shit for the rest of his life. (that is if he chooses to stay in America)


He really should go back to the Taliban, who he obviously loves. It would be a better life for him.
Get himself an Arab wife to beat up, and abuse, and life is grand.


Maybe he could join up with ISIS, or Hamas, or Hezbollah...start killing gays, and Jews, and Christians.


He has lots of options, but living in America is not one of them.

You know really when you are in some really deep shit,

When the United States of America says

just go, we don't care enough about you to put you in jail.

just go! git! get off my lawn! Leave! do whatever you want to do!

When the American Military says that you are not 'worthy' of incarceration, something has gone wrong.
Just go and  Live with yourself.        Just be who you are and deal with that.
