New Polls Suggest VA Gov Race will be Very Close

This race is important, because:
 
a) NJ governorship is gone
b) Dems will try to use a sweep to scare the rest of the GOP into abandoning the administration's agenda
c) Reps desperately need to break their losing streak in a purple state

I had a feeling this race would be close.  I hope Gillespie can pull it out.

What I think has made a difference -- perhaps even worth a few percentage points -- is that "white guy in the truck" ad the democrat-communists were running a few days' back.

The ad definitely "sent a message".
But I think the message that was sent, was not the one that the makers of the ad had in mind...
