When I think about how patriotic (and overall conservative) this country was when I was growing up.  How, even though people didn't behave morally all the time, the expectation was that people would, and there was shame in not doing so, I weep for what we have become.

I blame, to a large degree, the radical left's success in the sexual revolution of the 1960's, as well as the Communist infiltrated war protests, and the agitators in the civil rights movement leading to riots, where the legitimate need to right the wrongs was overtaken by hatred and violence....... not to mention Madeline Murray O'Hare and her troops' removal of God and all that is right and good in our education system.

The 60's stank to high heaven, and that's where, I think, the left successfully got their foothold in taking America down.

It's just degenerated since then to the absolute mess we're in now....

I suspect that they have an ulterior motive (the left always does have an ulterior motive with everything they do, especially if/when they seemingly turn on one of their own) behind that "turning on each other" re: the recent scandals involving Weinstein, Spacey and others.   Their real target is Trump.  They'll get around to him soon, no doubt.  And they'll be able to say "See, this isn't partisan....it's justice".   All their usual BS, of course.

Lol...I consider myself white.... even tho I am of Irish/Cherokee ancestry.   I have never, however, enjoyed any of that "white privilege" the left tries to push though.  I had to work hard for everything I earned/got.  No government ahole ever gave me a damned thing.... not even a "free phone".

My dad was retired Naval air who fought in WWII while my mom held down the fort at home.  I'd say they both contributed to this American society and quite well, I might add.

So I don't even want to hear about any damned reparations BS or white privilege.  Half of my ancestors were force-marched from their homeland in what amounted to genocide by the US government.   If that sentiment makes me a racist, I'll take that hit.  No problem.
