Maybe Mueller's looking to wrap this up.  The calls for his resignation (Uranium One) are becoming a drumbeat --- and he may need legal representation himself in the near future.

The charge will be PERJURY because they will have no underlying crime upon which to bring charges. So, just as in the case with Libby, they'll find something someone lied about related to the non-crime that was *not committed* so they can say, "We did something!"
