The U.S. Navy now has three aircraft carriers operating in the Pacific Ocean. That's a relatively rare occurrence, but not an surprising one, as tensions with North Korea continue to simmer. While there are no imminent signs of attack, such a force would be a potent addition to any pre-emptive strike against Pyongyang.
