Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Fla., is staying away from Washington because of ongoing threats against her, the Miami Herald is reporting.
Wilson came under the national spotlight after she criticized President Donald Trump's condolence call with the family of Sgt. La David Johnson, who was killed in Niger on Oct. 4.
A source close to Wilson confirmed the information.
"Nothing else would keep her from voting," the source said.
According to the Herald, Wilson last voted on Oct. 12, right before the House adjourned for a week-long break. She has failed to vote 19 times between Oct. 23 to 25, the newspaper said.
