Jesus Campos reportedly left the country days after Vegas massacre
NY Post, Oct 26, 2017, Chris Perez

Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos mysteriously left the country just days after the Las Vegas massacre, a report says.

Customs and Border Patrol documents obtained by Fox News show that the 25-year-old entered the United States from Mexico at the San Ysidro border crossing in California β€” one week after the mass shooting.

It’s unclear how long Campos was out of the country. The documents only show that he re-entered the US.

Oh that word "reportedly."  Ranks up there with "sources" "anonymous sources" and so on.

The guy could have been hiding from all the publicity.  Could have been whisked away by the hotel chain, the FBI or others to keep him out of the public eye.

Or maybe he was just visiting family and/or friends in Mexico.

Someone please let me know when something really newsworthy and not rumor or conspiracy theory comes out on this case.

The info does come from official sources, according to the story.

I would write all of this weird crap off to MGM trying to control the story to limit their liability, but all of it would require FBI acquiescence. What possible motive would they have to allow this to happen?

The questions and oddities keep mounting. Why was he allowed to leave the country?

Well, why wouldn't he?  He may have been a US citizen or at least here legally.  He had not been charged with a crime.

Isn't he the guy that lacked valid certification to be a security guard and shared a social security number with someone, as in not valid.

And is that fact or one of numerous rumors?

Imagine that. A Hispanic crosses the border.    How strange indeed.

Unless it is known what his business was south of the border or how unusual it is for him to make that trip, this is a big nothing-burger. Many American Hispanics make that journey, often visiting family, vacationing, or taking care of personal business.

Do they travel to Mexico after being shot and a witness in "the worst mass shooting" in American history?
