Although the EmDrive thruster was designed more than a decade ago, and proven to work by NASA’s Advanced Propulsion Physics Research Laboratory, informally known as Eagleworks, the subject still remains a controversial one. The main issue with the theoretical propulsion system which could potentially make space travel significantly faster, lies in its defiance of Newton’s third law.
