Yessir.

Expecting decorum regarding our political clown college, are they?

The poster I want to see is Hillary, glowing in the dark, and advertising she's not too old to be President in 2020 since her proximity to all that dirty uranium gave her a half life of 4.5 billion years.

On a thread about inane Trump worship we get...

...inane Trump worship.

(They really DON'T get it, do they?)
How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!

For you D.C ... your superhero!

Social media users took delight in ridiculing President Donald Trump's oldest son on Saturday after he posted a bizarre picture of his father on the Internet.

Sharing a fake Time Magazine cover photo to Instagram, the post shows the commander-in-chief depicted as a superhero reminiscent of Superman.

The image also depicts the President with a long golden beard with a 'T' instead of an 'S' emblazoned across his chest.

I like it...except for perhaps the beard.

I remember how nuts and outraged those folks were when this was showing up on T-shirts, posters and covers all over the place:

But now that it's THEIR guy ..... well, THAT is a horse of a different color!

Yep, and the right were disgusted, rightfully so, with this sort of politician worship. I guess when they think it is their guy, all is good.

The really sad part is they don't see a problem with this.

LOL!   No apology necessary, @libertybele And corny as it may be, there's a helluva lot of TRUTH in that meme.

It's Donald Trump against the friggin' world, it seems.

It sure does.

@bolobaby

That's because they see him as transcendently wonderful and rightfully deserving of this kind of thing.  Trump as Superman, noble lion, messiah, etc.---they nod in satisfaction and think, "Yes, he is."

I assume this message has NT's PO'd .. but in all candor, I can cope with their discontent.

Or ... we understand the poetic license taken to make a political point.  And that makes us smile.  You, it sends into a rage.

Love the beard.   Adds some "gravitas", in an Ayatollah kind of way.   ...Neptunish!    :smokin:

 @AbaraXas

As someone who doesn't trust government in the long run, I don't take that meme at all serious.   "Cute" at best.

But the one of him as Superman/SuperTrump, with a rugged beard standing defiantly in front of 'Old Glory' in the background...it's quite profound.

Especially if you were taught by nuns and Jesuits.

I would rather be a supposed 'PO'd NT' than be oblivious to the fact I'm praising a paraphrased Karl Marx quote as if it is something good.

All of it should be mocked and laughed at, along with the people that admire it.

Wow.  You certainly take the small stuff seriously @AbaraXas

I never took the graphics of Ted Cruz as savior or the ones with him in a tub playing with a rubber duck, seriously. Nor do I really believe the graphics portraying Hillary Clinton as satan are literally accurate.  It's using poetic license to make a political point. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  It's simply part of our political lexicon.

IMHO, there really are larger issues (Uranium One) on which to focus outrage.

Funny is the outrage that comes from those who regard Trump with divine reverence when 'poetic license' depicts their anointed in less-than-flattering visages.

Don't remember anybody making fun or mocking this?

Which lends credence to the theory that some Cruz supporters are hypocrites and not very bright.   *****rollingeyes*****

Said it before. I'll say it again.

As Conservatives we are where we are because we indulge in attacking each other's Conservative Bona Fides by picking - endlessly - at nits.

We have no sense of humor?

Considering the endless spewage of utter fabrications we're inundated under on a minute by minute basis by the left, we'll claw each other's eyes out over a joke?

If we're unwilling to fight our way up out of the gutter, bruised and bleeding, where the left's tsunami of disinformation portraying us all as dumb, shambling brutes incapable of discerning the truth that the Great White Socialist Father in the DNC Knows Best, and will provide for all our needs, has kicked us, by having a good Belly Laugh at their expense, perhaps (some of us) actually Are that caricature.

You don't think that calling out the complete 360 in Conservative philosophy is just 'clawing each other's eyes out over a joke'?  The quote in the image you copied that is being passed around like it is a good thing is a direct contradiction to Reagan's philosophy:

The quote that RIV is passing around saying it is one of her favorite descriptions of Trump is a paraphrase of a Karl Marx quote.

And the so called 'right' are now embracing this as their new way of thinking?
