Steve Bannon said to be in regular contact with Kid Rock about Senate run

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon has been in contact with Robert Ritchie, best known as Kid Rock, as the musician potentially gears up for a potential Senate run in 2018.

Bannon and Ritchie have been in regular phone contact about possibly running against incumbent and Michigan Democrat Sen. Debbie Stabenow, a source told RealClearPolitics.

Bannon, who last week at the Values Voters Summit declared a "season of war" on Republican lawmakers and is attempting to overthrow the "GOP establishment" in 2018, has been meeting with Republican donors, following the Alabama special election where Roy Moore defeated Sen. Luther Strange. Strange was backed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and President Trump, in a GOP primary runoff election; Bannon supported Moore.

Not that it's extremely relevant,  but our son saw Kid Rock when he visited the troops in Iraq in 2003, or 2004, and I have always respected him for that.

I have watched several interviews of Kid Rock. He is very patriotic and leans conservative.  I'd support him.

Well if Bannon is supporting Kid Rock then I won't vote for Kid Rock in the primary. If I was in Michigan.
